  1. Wow... I'm glad the Grammys finally made some nice choices. Big ups to all of the great artists nominated, especially Ledisi, Emily King and Chrisette Michele. Hopefullt people will start paying attention to these new promising artists.

    • I am floored by these nominations. Has the Grammy's finally gotten some Act Right? So glad to see so many artists whose work I adore who rarely get some shine getting nominated. Here's to hoping that they win!

  2. i've never heard of the Best Urban/Alternative Performance category before. or maybe i just never paid attention to it until now...DWELE!!!!

  3. I'm jive floored too, but of course Amy and Kanye are getting all the attention net-wide. Not that they don't deserve it.

  4. Great day for Soul Music indeed.
Ok, I was going to complain about Ledisi being identified as Best New Artist. But after reading the definition of the category, I suppose I get it.
However, I still think Chrisette Michele would have been a better choice there, although "If I Have My Way" is my personal favorite on the album and I hope it wins.
