Santogold has been quite busy lately. Whether it's performing with Mark Ronson, gracing the cover of The Fader, having her music featured in an artsy video with cloud-like puppets, or being signed to Atlantic Records' UK division, it's safe to say that this sista girl from Philly will be shining in 2008. Her new video, "Les Artistes," has been making quite a buzz since its debut last week. The song features Santogold's return to a new wave-ish sound, as well a video that aims for full artistic impact. Case in point: Santogold astride a black horse and people bleeding strawberries and green paint after they have been shot at. Ahhh...trés chic.
