There are several mixtapes floating around on the interwebs for download. Many of the ones that we come across on SoulBounce are for free, and we couldn't be happier about that. When we were informed about a mixtape that featured Al Green's vintage vocals and musical arrangements over classic hip hop beats from faves such as De La Soul, Common and Mos Def, we couldn't be happier. The happiness increased even more after the mixtape's creator Omer Saar told us that it was created with the intention of bringing awareness to a Philadelphia non-profit organization, Stay True, founded by his brother Nir Saar. Stay True prides itself on education, environmental awareness, and fostering change in our communities. So, Al Green + Hip Hop Beats = Positive Change. We are so there.
