Chico DeBarge’s ‘Addiction’ to Be Unveiled Early Next Year

chico.jpgIs it just me, or does it seem that whenever you hear about Joe Thomas, fellow R&B crooner Chico DeBarge is never that far behind? Well, if you feel me on that, then you had to know that with Joe's new album coming out soon, Chico is on deck with a new project called Addiction set for early next year. It's been five years since his last release, Free, and this time, Chico takes it back to the label that nurtured the hits "Talk to Me," "Playa Hater" and "Give You What You Want," returning to his Kedar Entertainment / Universal home. Yes, it's been confirmed that there will be a collaboration with Thomas on the new disc, while a new single, "Tell Your Man," will be released this fall.

  1. That duet with Joe might be worth checking out. Lately, both of their careers have been on life support.

  2. Well, he's back again after another stint in the hoo-skow. I always liked his collabos w/Joe.

  3. I don't care what he does, I will never forget about this:
It's the Chico DeBarge of our collective dreams and the only one that matters! Please come back to us, Zesty Pre-Lockup Chico!

  4. Chico is one of the most underated singers of his generation; from what I understand, he's working with my man Kedar again, which I hope will be a good thing.

  5. this sounds better than his past addictions.

  6. Happen to youtube his videos the other day and actually missed the dude...this is rather interesting.
