The world-renowned jazz saxophonist is giving his fans a special musical gift in the form of a free download of "Little (Ghetto) Drummer Boy" from his Grammy-nominated album, The Christmas Message. Kirk posted the download link on Twitter over the weekend, and it's only fitting that we share it here. In case you missed this album when it first dropped in 2001, there's no better time than the present to add it to your collection to hear Whalum's jazzy take on holiday favorites and other classics, such as his spin on "Little Drummer Boy." Don't expect to hear any "pa rum pa pa pum's" on Kurt's version of this traditional Christmas carol, but prepare to snap your fingers and get into its groove.
