'People Get Ready' For Seal's New Video

Not that this video is all that different than the ones he's released for singles from his most recent album, Soul, but the simple aesthetic is refreshing. Seal really sells this set up (this time completely in black and white) where he wanders amid beautiful old buildings and sings around, but not to, the cameras. There's a small choir backing him as he covers The Impressions' "People Get Ready," and they make an appearance in the video as Seal sings solemnly in a dimly lit courtyard. It's beautiful and doesn't distract from the song at all, which for all intents and purposes is a fine way to utilize the music video format.
