It's Not New, But We'll 'Vibrate On' With Erykah Any Day

Since Erykah Badu's performance of "Vibrate On" on Girlfriends last year, rumors were swirling that the song was to be included on a soundtrack from the show. Thankfully, a year and some change later, the speculation has become a reality since January 27th will mean that you can cop yours legally from marketplaces such as Amazon. To expect lots of female empowerment tunes and smooth grooves such as India.Arie's "I Am Not My Hair" is an understatement. Erykah's "Vibrate On" will be the first song that will bless your ears if you do cop the compilation. It's everything that we expected from Erykah about 10 years ago, which isn't horrible. It just leaves me yearning for some updated, post-millennial sounds from the songstress. In the meantime, I guess this will have to do. [H/T: MVMT]
