The 'Sun's Out' For Choklate & Her 'Folks'

With a voice as sweet and rich as the food from which she gets her name, Choklate is one of the premiere indie soul songstresses of today. Her latest album, To Whom It May Concern, is another collection of songs to nod your head to or cool out with and that's even reflected in her first video from the project that combines two songs from the album. The video opens up with the song "Sun's Out," and the visuals are as bright and colorful as the groove. Choklate wakes up to a brand new day full of sunshine and we see her go through her morning as happy as she wants to be. The clip wraps with the laid back track "Grown Folks" with Chok and her friends chilling out at a lounge while she plays both performer and patron out on a date with her man played by Malcolm Jamal-Warner. It's good to see Theo Huxtable again.
