I'm kinda not a fan of remixes by default. Mostly I think that the majority are entirely unnecessary or detract from otherwise good (sometimes fantastic) originals. But then there are the ones that debunk my entire mindset regarding remixes like this one of Ryan Leslie's "My Addiction" by SoulBounce fave Siik. By throwing a smooth, cool Jungle Brothers beat under it he turned a song that had long since lost my attention into something much more palatable than the original. It's like Siik turned the air conditioning on in the sweltering house of Leslie and out came this remix. With some iced tea in hand. [SIIK]
