The 'Feeling's Gone,' Basment Jaxx and Sam Sparro

In light of the recent release of Basment Jaxx's new album, Scars, this surreal video that slipped through the cracks deserves a little shine. In "Feeling's Gone," a bleached Sam Sparro cruises the universe in a space ship. He lands on a planet that is shaped like a stage that's complete with a band, Basement Jaxx, and some Josephine Baker/Chiquita styled back-up singers. But their heads are big and their bodies are miniature puppets. It's funny and strange and makes the song feel fairly long since it's easy to get caught up in the retro feel, imagery and props.
