Reason #3948586 why Twitter is dope: it's there where you come across gems like I did this morning, via a re-tweet by none other than Ashton Kutcher about a chorus from New York's Public School 22, who have been literally running this town with their spirited performances. Seriously, they've performed in front of a veritable who's who of celebs, including Lady GaGa, Suzanne Vega, Tori Amos, Rihanna and Beyonce. It's Mrs. Carter who is their latest subject, as the color coordinated group, under the direction of the piano-playing teacher, Mr. B., show their chops while tackling Bey's "Halo." I promise, this is the first time I've enjoyed the song this much. For mure fun, at around the 1:40 mark, peek over the lead singer's shoulder as one of the chorus members goes in. They surely don't need a plug from us, but check out their blog anyway to see their digital resume. Love the kids.
