Seeing And 'Hearin'' Angie Stone

I mentioned on Twitter the other day that there's been very little promo for Angie Stone's new album Unexpected for it to be dropping on Tuesday. Lo and behold a video popped up for the lead single, "I Ain't Hearin' U," mere days later. That's the good news. The bad news is that there's not much to see here. Don't get me wrong, I loves me some Angie Stone, but this video feels like I've seen it already--a few hundred times--with slight variations. Here we have Angie and her man out for a night of clubbing surrounded by people who are dancing way too hard. Everything is all good until Lovita Alize Jenkins rolls up on her man and her friends who are way too old grown to be in her business start salt shaking. But Angie is all "talk to the hand" and eventually straightens things out without even chipping a nail. Although this video ultimately left me unfulfilled, Angie looks great and I'm totally coveting her disco ball bracelet.
