Although it's been quite some time since we've heard from Erik Rico around these parts, that of course did not mean that he wasn't busy concocting something fierce in his laboratory. Today marks the release of his Reworks Project. Though big fans we are of reworked classics we are, we are also a bit suspicious of anyone tampering with the likes of Sade, let alone Stevie Wonder's "Too High," Marvin Gaye's "I Want You," or Al Green's "Still In Love With You." Don't fret. If this rework of Sade's "Sweetest Taboo" is any indication, then the rest of this album will be a definite must-have. Not that we expected anything less.
