Heads Up: New Sade Debuts Online Tomorrow

Despite the immediacy of this blog post's title, let's acknowledge the obvious off the top: Sade looks frigging incredible. It is borderline nonsensical how strikingly gorgeous she is in this photograph. Her signature pulled back hairstyle is in place, her makeup is flawless, her silver earrings and mass of necklaces makes her look like a regal African queen and her freckles--oh, those freckles--are the chocolate sprinkles on top. This is our first look at the "new" Sade on the cover to her single "Soldier of Love, which debuts online Tuesday morning at 7 am EST on Sade.com. Synchronize your watches, set your alarms and get ready to enlist in Sade's army tomorrow.

Doesn't sound trip hoppish to me, sounds like vintage Sade to me, I love it, I'm def a soldier of love.....

  13. Sade's voice is always consistent! A timeless classic.
A wicked guitar by Stuart Matthewman. He put an alternative rock funk vibe into the track. The rest of the band always makes Sade shine.
I wonder if Sweetback will release a solo project soon too?! 🙂
    I'm on edge until February 8, 2010!
    Thank you for sharing!
