We haven't gotten any new music from Carmen Rodgers since her 2004 debut, Free, but that's all about to change this year when her sophomore set, Intermission, drops in March. If the first single, "Heartless," is any indication, it will be well worth the six-year wait. With its synth-driven sound, DJ scratches and danceable groove, this song sounds like a '90s throwback, which I am not one bit mad at. It's Carmen's voice that steals the show, however, as she sings about a lover who needs to get his act together lest he see her walking away. You better tell him, girl!
