I'm no Rihanna fan, but I am a fan of exciting visuals and she delivers in her video for "Rude Boy." Ri-Ri reminds us that she is an island gal (not that we can ever forget
every time she opens her mouth to talk) with bursts of red, gold and
green and by channeling her inner dancehall queen with some sexy
choreography. A little too Pop for my tastes, this song is begging for
the selector to come down on a Reggae remix. Of all of the videos
that I've seen off of Rated R--and there have been many--this is the most watchable. And since I'm all for continuing education, I'm going to practice my wine right now.
