Maysa always gives good voice and that doesn't change on her latest single "Spend Some Time" from her new CD, A Woman in Love. The smoky vocals of this jazzy soul chanteuse are at their best and the classic adult contemporary sound of the track make it feel good and appropriate for when you are in traffic and maybe catching a much-needed wind down session after work. The video, though, isn't much. While there is absolutely no plot going on in this one, you do get the chance to view Maysa heavily bundled up in winter gear and lip-syncing to her glorious voice while we scratch our heads wondering what happened to the rest of the drama that started at the very beginning of the video. Inquiring minds want to know about the cutie feeling Maysa up in his car before she got pissed and exited the ride. Oh well. Maybe we'll get more in her next vid. Until then, check out the talented diva get her sing on in the streets of New York City and don't get too caught up on the dated CGI effects or disappearing plot line. Lady Maysa more than makes up for it with her enviable vocals.
