I'm not going to get into that pointless debate about why my Hip Hop is better than your younger Hip Hop. It's pointless to argue about opinions when both parties have committed themselves to be in such vehement disagreement. I will say this, however: I like this video stylistically until the creepy people in a fashion student's failed project come into play. I do like the continuous shuffling of objects such that a optical illusion gets created several times over. I still don't understand Kid Cudi's appeal though. I was hoping he was maybe going to serve as eye candy until I saw these pictures for a recent Calvin Klein campaign. In any case, take a gander at Kid Cudi featuring MGMT and RATATAT's "Pursuit of Happiness" and decide if you love it or hate it.
