Sade Takes Her 'Babyfather' On 'The Tonight Show'

The second single from Sade's triumphant return, Soldier of Love, is "Babyfather," and the British chanteuse is back stateside for another round of television appearances to promote her latest. Last night she graced the stage of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno looking ever-so-lovely in aqua and pink and switching it up for the reggae-tinged tune accompanied by featured singer Tony Momrelle and two adolescent girls on background vocals. When I first heard that this would be the second single, I thought that it was an odd choice, but after seeing the song performed live I'm now a believer. Enjoy the video clip below and tune in to Dancing With the Stars tonight to see Sade perform something old ("Sweetest Taboo"!!!) and something new.
