If you are anywhere near Los Angeles this Memorial Day weekend, then make plans to attend the 24th Annual JazzReggae Festival on Sunday, May 30th (Jam Day) and Monday, May 31st (Reggae Day). Yes, that's this weekend, but don't despair if you don't have tickets yet. That's where we come in. Our good friends fam, The Foreign Exchange, is giving away a pair of tickets to see them perform live on Sunday/Jam Day. By the way, also on the bill are a few acts who you may have heard of: Raphael Saadiq, Q-Tip, Bilal, Georgia Anne Muldrow & Declaime, Quadron and many more. My goodness--that lineup is like SoulBounce come to life. The JazzReggae Festival goes down on UCLA's Intramural Field and the annual two-day event features a who's who of soul, hip hop and reggae. Monday/Reggae Day's lineup is no joke either, with Nas and Damian Marley, Barrington Levy, Nneka and a slew of other artists scheduled to perform. Tickets for the JazzReggae Festival are still available and may be purchased for either day or both days online at Ticketmaster.
