'Why Dontcha' Take A Trip To The '80s With YahZarah

Just when I thought that I couldn't fall in love with YahZarah's brand new album, The Ballad of Purple Saint James, anymore she ups and drops the video for "Why Dontcha Call Me No More" today, and I'm caught up in the rapture all over again. Starting off the clip with Yahz and the Hollagrams (a nod to the cartoon Jem and the Holograms--get familiar), between the outfits, the hair, the choreography, this video is a whirlwind of truly outrageous '80s nostalgia. Whoever styled this joint did a superb job to make everyone look straight outta 1985. Directed by Matt Koza, the video features cameos from her Foreign Exchange family members Phonte and Nicolay (whose wifey Aimee Flint can be seen getting it in on drums) rocking the most hilarious wigs and guyliner and honey dip Jesse Boykins III--with his lovely tresses flowing free--playing YahZarah's new boo. Don't be surprised--or ashamed--if you find yourself doing The Carlton to this.
