I first caught wind of singer Muhsinah on The Foreign Exchange's 2008 release, Leave It All Behind. I later served myself an epic #FAIL upon realizing that I was a few years behind on discovering this talented D.C.-native, who had self-released her first project, The Oscillations EP, way back in 2005. Well, the multi-talented producer-songwriter-singer, is taking matters into her own hands again for her latest project, Dear _________ (aka Dear Blank). While she normally produces her music in her bedroom, Muhsinah is planning on recording and mixing the final product in a studio. To do so, she's enlisting the help of fans and music lovers to help her raise the money through Kickstarter to pay for the studio time during recording and to produce an accompanying short film. She's striving to raise $31,000 in 31 days. To encourage fans to lend a hand, Mushinah is giving us a musical tease with an album sampler that clocks in at a little over four minutes.
