I've never been the biggest Keyshia Cole fan. But over the years she's come into her own apart from her trifling family, has developed her voice after that God-awful yodeling debacle on "Love" and has finally stopped trying to be Mary J. Blige, Jr. We haven't heard much on the music front from Keyshia since she got boo'ed up and became a mommy, but this new leak may signal her return to the spotlight. And it's actually pretty good. One thing it isn't, however, is an R&B record. One listen to "Someone Tell My Heart" will reveal that Cole is taking another dip into pop music's waters. Some may think that she's watering down her sound on this track about trying to get over a lost love, but I think that it's a nice fit for her voice.
