Meeting Faith Evans was one of the few instances in recent memory that I was completely star-struck. Nonetheless, I wasn't surprised that she engaged me in conversation, noted the similarities between our names--her: Faith; me: Imani--and joked around in a typical grown-up 'round-the-way girl fashion. Her last efforts aside, I knew to simply wait it out. Faith always seems to bring effortless grace, class and a bit of auntie sass that appeals to nearly everyone I know. "Way You Move" is a great reacquaintance to her sound and will most definitely swing us all nicely into summer. Snoop Dogg ends up lending a bit of class to this track as well. More samplers from her upcoming Something About Faith will appear over the next few months undoubtedly leading up to its official release on September 14th.
