The Steve Harvey of R&B, Lyfe Jennings, has premiered the video for his single "Statistics." I already panned this song when it first hit the net, so I didn't expect much, and this video, which basically illustrates the lyrics, lived up to my expectations. Opening with a handful of Black women each discussing their relationship woes before segueing into Lyfe singing about his made-up statistics, this video goes hand-in-hand with the tired rhetoric of the song. Personally, I wouldn't take relationship advice from either Harvey or Jennings, but to each her own.
I can't stand this song...
the sad thing is this is one of the better RnB tracks getting radio play these days.
Hot garbagio! Don't be a nickel singin' simplistic, lame advice about how to attract a dime.
I actually liked his first album but he hasn't really grabbed my attention since then. I feel like his heart is in the right place at times but the execution is just off. I hop he has much better offerings soon because I think he's already on album 4!
He's the LAST person that need to be giving advice. What happened to the JAIL statistic? Oh I forgot, he falls into that one category, not to mention the woman he was beating up in Atlanta a while back...smh......GTFOH!!!!! Go back to the drawing board!!!!!!!
Don't hate the player hate the game. Keep on keeping it real Lyfe. We woman need to here this from a real man. He just telling us what we need to here so that we don't get caught up with the 90% of cheating men.
Love The Song
