Welcome Back, Lauryn

After several false starts and unfulfilled promises, this generation's most beloved and most talented femcee-singer has returned. Don't believe me? I don't blame you, although you might want to take a gander at Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Song charts this week. Her song "Repercussions," which we weren't aware was even an official single, has debuted on the chart at #94. The last time a song of Lauryn Hill's charted it was 11 years ago with "Turn The Lights Down Low," her duet with posthumous father-in-law Bob Marley. My has time flies. Also promising is this recent photo of Lauryn looking beautiful with her lovely beaming smile that we were all too familiar with over a decade ago. Come on, Lauryn. We've been waiting for you and never lost hope in you. Plus, we're going to need for you to smash all over this nonsense that some people have the gall to defend. [H/T:CNN]
