Syleena Johnson Makes Twitter Followers 'Happy' With An Acapella Treat

One of the realest artists who I've ever had the pleasure of interviewing has been Syleena Johnson. Not only is she an incredible vocalist who sings from the depths of her soul every single time she opens her mouth, but she is that cool like that sista-friend who you wish you had. She's busily working on her next album, Chapter 5: Underrated, which looks like it'll be released in early 2011, but in her downtime she's become the latest celeb to join get addicted to Twitter. Relatively new to the social networking site, Syleena has jumped into Twitter's non-stop game of double dutch and interacts with fans, who she's dubbed the "Syleegion," regularly. A promise that she made to her Syleegion was that for every 5,000 followers that she received that she would post an exclusive performance for their enjoyment. Staying true to her word even though she was sick and her voice wasn't at 100%, after hitting her first 5K followers last night, Syleena posted a video of her singing "Guitars of the Heart (Happy)" from Chapter 2: The Voice that blew me away and probably made lesser talented singers question the meaning of life. One thing you don't need to question is if Syleena still got it, because she never lost it. Be sure to follow @Syleena_Johnson on Twitter so that these performances can keep coming.
