Kadija Kamara’s ‘Christmas Song’ Brings Some Festive Cheer

UK songstress Kadija Kamara is well known and respected on the live London soul scene, but her name may well be unfamiliar to those of you reading this in other parts of the world. She is set to release her debut EP early next year, but as an introduction, and as a Christmas gift to her fans, Kadija has recorded an acoustic cover of the Nat King Cole classic "The Christmas Song." Kadija's jazz-inflected vocals coupled with a simple guitar backing add a new spin to this festive favorite and it definitely has me eager to hear more from her. You can listen to the track below and download via her Bandcamp page, but hurry as free downloads are limited to the first 500.
