I'm convinced that there is something in the water in Detroit that helps to breed some of the most talented artists I've ever had the pleasure of hearing. From the Motown glory days to the new soul renaissance of today that has brought us talents such as Kem, Dwele, Monica Blaire and Zo!, Detroit stays winning, and now we have a new name to add to the Motor City mix: Kristopher Lamont. He's been honing his craft for the past few years and is readying his first album to be released in 2011. Kristopher is giving people a taste of what to expect with his debut single, "Change." The mid-tempo track is well suited to his voice and you can hear some of his range later in the song. This is definitely an impressive first effort from an exciting new talent out of The D.
