Consistently ignoring the term "genre" in their interpretation of music, Gorillaz have always been a group that has continued to amaze and please me since they emerged on the scene several years ago. I have certainly enjoyed their collaborations with artists such as Little Dragon and Bobby Womack from their latest Plastic Beach, but I must admit that I love their collaborations with lyricists more than anything. Their latest video for "Welcome To Plastic Beach" features modern-day minstrel of sorts, Snoop Dogg, accompanied by Hypnotic Brass Ensemble on this Gorillaz track. The video's surreal and the beat bangs. I love it. Check it out below.
