Is Jacob Latimore The Next Young Singer To 'Like'?

If Usher and Chris Brown had a love child, it might be Jacob Latimore. He's no relation to those two singers, but at 14 he is following in their footsteps trying to be the next in a long line of male artists to start in their youth and achieve success with little (and big) girls falling for their charms. Coming from a musical family, his father and uncles are the inspirational group The Latimore Brothers, Jacob made his mind up at nine that he wanted to be a singer. Here he is five years later signed to Jive and releasing his first single, "Like 'Em All" featuring Diggy Simmons, the video for which premiered this week. The comic book-themed video following "The Adventures of Jacob Latimore" is colorful, entertaining, and age appropriate. He sings about how bad his chick is and loving her flaws and all. And that Diggy? He's growing up into such a fine young man. When does he turn 18? Just wondering. But back to young Jacob. He's cute. The song is cute. The video is cute. My little cousins will love him. Auntie Butta approves. It remains to be seen if he'll have next or get to Justin Bieber status, but this is a promising start. Peep the video below and if it's too adolescent for your tastes, check him out singing Usher's "There Goes My Baby" after the bounce and sounding quite good in the process.
