We'll Pass On Kanye West & Jay-Z's Slice Of 'H.A.M.'

Unless you're one of the few people who haven't heard Kanye West and Jay-Z's "H.A.M. (Hard As A Motherf---er)" from their upcoming five-track EP Watch The Throne, either because you didn't care enough about it or didn't wait until its premiere at midnight last night to hear it, it's apparently all the interwebs feel inclined to discuss today. Kanye and Jay's insistence on declaring themselves great with a track whose distorted operatic overtures supposedly try to qualify it as something worthy of sitting through for almost five minutes doesn't sway me. Judging from the comments sections of several hip hop blogs, "H.A.M." exists to further cement the half-assed notion that those who don't like it are "haters"--elitist, tasteless, out-of-touch--while those who like it are better than said haters. While I'm certainly happy to know that Kanye and Jay both feel they are hard as a motherf---er, this track is not. I suspect that somewhere R. Kelly can be found with his head thrown back in rapturous ecstacy, clutching his sides, and sincerely laughing his ass off because this is not the best of both worlds. Listen to it below if you haven't already, then have at it in the comments.
