As if I needed anymore confirmation that I need a trip to Jamaica to visit the land whose blood runs through my veins, MeLo-X just gave it to me with his new video for "Cooked Food." Mind you, there isn't one palm tree or grain of white sand to be found in this video. Hell, it isn't even filmed in Jamaica--instead looking like it was shot in somebody's office with a budget of $15. Nonetheless, it's MeLo's comical turn as uber-Jamaican Mustafa with his ragtag band known as The Redd Strypes that endears me to this Jesse Boykins III-directed clip in all its simplicity.
