When I first stumbled upon "Loved" by Melanie Durrant, I can't say that I knew anything about her, but I most certainly was familiar with the song's producer, none other than Slakah The Beatchild. Now that I know more about the Canadian chanteuse, I only have myself to blame for not keeping an eye on her. I certainly love the direction this song has taken and, while it seems a bit repetitive at times, I love the overall feel of the track. It definitely seems as though "Loved" is screaming for a remix which, if I know Slakah's music as well as I think I do, is only a matter of time.
