Kissey Says 'Count Me Out'

Kissey Asplund may not be a name that you've heard in a while, but just because she's been quiet that doesn't mean that she hasn't had anything to say. We'll get to hear what's been on her mind soon when all the music that she's been recording is released on a new album. In the interim, she's gonna tide folks over with some freebies, and the first one is an acoustic remake of the song "Count Me Out" by fellow Swede Salem Al Fakir. Her rendition is simple--it's just her and a piano--and her voice is a nice fit to the melancholy lyrics about letting someone go. Stay tuned for more from Kissey, this week as a matter of fact, when she drops another cover on Friday, this time of Pharoahe Monch's "Simon Says." Now that's gonna be interesting.
