Estelle has been dropping a few samples of her upcoming album, All Of Me, since
last year, but nothing has yet to really catch on. She hasn't gotten much appreciation for any of them, and we surely didn't appreciate the ill-advised video for "Freak." However, "Break My Heart"
reminds us of the Estelle we knew and loved. Revisiting the formula that worked so well on the
successful "American Boy," Estelle chooses to show off her unique voice by singing alongside a rapper, this time trading in Kanye West for Rick Ross. Featuring a cool, '70s funk-sounding track, the single is actually likeable. It's still too difficult
to determine what the new album will sound like, but with this release it's definitely easier to be
optimistic about it.
