Is This Plain White T's Cover Enough To Make You 'Forget' Cee-Lo?

In addition to making their own great music, the Plain White T's have done a damned good job of taking other artists' uber-popular songs and reworking them as their own. Back in 2007, they made waves with their acoustic take on Rihanna's hit song "Umbrella," and now they're doing it once again with their rendition of Cee-Lo Green's mega-hit "Forget You." The group performed their stripped down version for Billboard.com's latest installment of Mashup Mondays. As someone who never hopped on board the love train for the original, I honestly didn't think it'd be possible for any version of this song to appeal to me. However, between the group's sweet backing harmonies and bass player Mike Retondo's raspy voice, I suddenly found myself humming along to the very song I've been trying my damnedest to avoid for the past few months. Is this version enough to make you forget Cee-Lo's version?
