Mar's Latest Variation Takes Us To 'Inglewood'

Oh Mar, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. First, let's start with the fact that your voice can slip, slide, and glide its way across just about anything. Your latest Variation to hit the web is your take on the Oddisee-produced instrumental, "Inglewood." Truth be told, I have no idea if you're even actually singing about the Cali city nor do I actually even care; whatever you're crooning about is totally giving me the warm fuzzies inside. Honestly at this point, you could probably sing the listings in a phone book to me, and I'd likely still melt. Secondly, your Variation series is introducing me to a bevy of songs that never would've even popped up on my radar. If anybody had told me that I'd be singing along to the superduper crassness of Lil' Wayne's "Single," then I'd have told them that they had lost their ever lovin' minds. Yet, your smoothed-out version reeled me in, hook, line, and sinker. You could probably even make me sit through a Beyoncé song, and I wouldn't even be mad about it. Well, there are more things that I could go on about, but I'm sure I've said enough. I should likely be ashamed at the fact that I'm so openly drooling at my desk as I type this, but I'm too far in to really care. Just keep doing what you do; you officially have a stan fan in me.
