Vacationer Takes Us On A 'Trip'

My passport is in dire need a some new stamps, so while I plot and plan to make that happen, the only way that I can escape the daily grind is with music. So when I received an email about a group named Vacationer with a song by the name of "Trip" I was quick to listen because clearly that was a sign. I didn't know what to expect, as information in said email was scarce, but I was pleasantly surprised once I pressed play. Describing their sound as "Nu-hula" and calling themselves "the eastern seaboard's foremost relaxation specialists," Vacationer takes listeners on a soul-soothing voyage with the unnamed lead singer laying his vocals on top of a boom bap beat with the occasional bird chirp on "Trip." The accompanying video is a trip in and of itself and will feel like you're watching Animal Planet with lots of wildlife, nature shots, and a dancer pop-locking next to a waterfall. If you're digging this as much as I am, then make sure to grab the freeload from their website with a quick sign up to their mailing list.
