ERIMAJ & Tiombe Lockhart Bring Their 'Conflict' To Life

It's not often that drummers get to take center stage. Even though they provide one of the most important elements -- the beat -- to a good song, it's rare that they get to shine the spotlight on themselves. Unless you're Jamire Williams, that is. After dropping a new single,"Conflict of A Man" last month, the Bounce-Worthy percussionist and his crew, who perform under the name ERIMAJ, premiered the visuals for the song this week via Okayplayer. Directed by the all-too talented Tiombe Lockhart, the video has an early-'90s feel through and through, right down to the clothes. Needless to say, Jamire does his thing with the beat, and with vocals by my one of my well-documented fave new singers, Chris Turner, there's just no way in hell I wasn't gonna like this one. No word yet on when the full album is due out, but rest assured, this SoulBouncer will be all ears when it does.
