Kanye West & Jay-Z Go On A Joyride In 'Otis'

Call me a hater if you must, but I wasn't a part of the group who collectively creamed themselves fawning over "Otis" when it dropped late last month. The Throne (could we be any more pretentious Jay & 'Ye?) may have been spitting pretty well over a well-used Otis Redding sample, but it didn't really move me. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for braggadocio and confidence when it comes to hip hop, but listening to two multi-millionaires wax on and on about their cars, watches, and money for three minutes while I play "What Bill Can Stand Not Getting Paid Today?"™ is not my idea of a good time. I even avoided watching this video as Twitter went abuzz when it dropped, but after watching it this morning, I have to say that I actually like it. I think it's mostly because it all just seems so damn fun. There's a sheer joy that's being had here as the twosome swerve around in a completely tricked-out Maybach with models and Aziz Ansari tagging along. Kudos to Spike Jonze for capturing it all with a cinematic flair, as well. Now, there are other issues that could be addressed about the video, but I'll leave those for you guys to discuss amongst yourselves.
