As we count down the days until the release of Lalah Hathaway's Where It All Begins on October 18th we have this video, filmed at The Recording Academy's Los Angeles chapter's GRAMMY 2011 Block Party, to tide us over. Joined on stage by jazz saxophonist Mindi Abair, Lalah covers the James Brown classic "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" and, in typical fashion, makes the track 100% her own. Rarely do I wish that artists release full cover albums, however Ms. Hathaway would certainly be an exception to that rule with this song definitely included.
