When I got new material from Meshell Ndegeocello in the form of “Dirty World,” I was overjoyed. When I got the news that the ever-talented performer would be releasing a new album, I was ecstatic. So it goes without saying that when Meshell announced that she would be hitting stages in NYC, Philly, and Virginia, I got even more happy. Well, if you happen to live in or near LA, San Francisco, Chicago, or Minneapolis, then you have plenty of reason to be happy, too: Meshell’s camp has announced that she’ll be adding those cities to her current tour as well. And those in the Chi and Minneapolis have even more to smile about, as she’ll be doing multiple-night stands in each of those cities (three nights in Chicago and two in Minneapolis to be exact). Of course, this tour will be in support of her upcoming ninth studio album, Weather, which will be released on November 8th. Meshell always puts on a great show, so be sure to buy your tickets as they usually go fast when she’s involved. Hit the bounce for the Meshell’s tour dates and venues. And if you’re going to the NYC set, we might just bump shoulders in the crowd.
