New Orleans MC Dee-1 may have initially caught my attention with his good looks, but it's his talent that has kept it. His flow is tight and his storytelling tighter, both of which are on display in the song "The Garden of Eden" featuring singer Kennedi Rayne (whose voice is quite fetching), a video for which just dropped this week. Dee-1 spins a tale of a teenage boy too innocent for his own good. The idealistic youth is unaffected by his surroundings until he witnesses a tragic crime and he starts to see the gravity of his reality. He returns home safe and sound to the arms of his praying mama, but his life has definitely been changed. This is yet another good look from Dee-1. [H/T: OKP]
