Eric Lau has been keeping himself busy since dropping his stunning New Territories album back in 2008. Before that he had worked alongside the likes of Georgia Anne Muldrow and Dudley Perkins, but it was the release of his debut album that really cemented his place in the consciousness of soul and hip-hop lovers worldwide. Since then he's been busy on remix duties, DJing, and dropping free gems here and there, and has released two instrumental hip-hop projects, Makin' Sound and Quadrivium. His latest release, "The Mission," is apparently the first single off of his as-yet-untitled album dropping sometime in 2012. The track is a head-nodding slice of soulful, organic hip-hop featuring Guilty Simpson on vocal duties. Word has it that there is also a Georgia Anne Muldrow remix in the pipeline so keep your ears peeled.
