CJ Hilton is one of the crop of new male R&B young bloods who I'm really digging. The fact that he can sing definitely helps the matter, and the material that I've heard from his direction thus far gets a thumbs up. His brand new music video for the single "Cold Summer" also gets high marks. CJ and his leading lady seem to be in bliss, but there's trouble brewing in their paradise. The video illustrates the song's themes of love-on-the-rocks and the resulting isolation rather well. The album Cold Summer looks like it's been pushed back to 2012 to give CJ more time to cook, but this is definitely one to look for in the new year.
