Mara TK has had quite a good year, what with the release of his solo EP, Taniwhunk, and his collaboration with Hollie Smith on Band of Brothers Vol. 1. While we patiently wait for his group Electric Wire Hustle to drop something new, we'll gladly accept Mara continuing to get his side hustle on in 2012. This time around he links up with fellow New Zealander Julien Dyne on his upcoming album, Glimpse, on the track "So Far." Dyne, a producer and musician, is gearing up for Glimpse's January 16th release on BBE, and "So Far" highlights his electro soul hop production and Mara's voice, which continues to enthrall and makes me question if the ghost of Marvin Gaye inhabits his throat. The beat knocks, and its one of many that Dyne has in store as well as collabs with Ladi6 and Claire Duncan. Take a listen and make a note to cop Glimpse next month. [H/T: MVMT]
