Lianne La Havas Shows Some 'Love' To Jill Scott

While web-stalking checking out Lianne La Havas over on YouTube, I came across this video of her covering Jill Scott's "He Loves Me" at a recent live show. Now the prospect of hearing one of my favorite new voices covering one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite singers of all time had me feeling a mixture of emotions. Excitement. Check. Apprehension. Check. Nervousness. Check. Thankfully we know Lianne has a great voice, and she takes Jilly's original and gives it an acoustic twist that is as welcome as it is refreshing. Her debut album cannot come soon enough.
