We Think You Will 'Love' Juliette, Maybe Her 'Hair' Too

I have a soft spot for jazzy soul music. Chrisette Michele's debut album, I Am, blew me away both vocally and musically (although subsequent releases failed to match up), and Amy Serrata's debut impressed, gaining her a co-sign from non other than Questlove, but we haven't heard from her in a while. There are numerous other artists who incorporate jazz stylings into their music -- too many to mention -- but there is always room for another in my collection, so step forward Juliette. The British songstress is certainly no newcomer to the game, having released her debut album in 2005 and a couple of buzz singles since, but 2012 will see her release her full-length follow-up effort, Keys Of Love. If the first single, "Love Me and My Hair," is anything to go by the album should definitely appeal to fans of those artists already mentioned, as Juliette combines classic-sounding jazz vocals with a more modern, soulful sound. The video for the single, which you can check out below, sees Juliette taking to the stage in a 1920's jazz club, which fits nicely with the track's overall vibe. Definitely one to keep an eye on.
