Despite rumors of new material in the works, it's been seven long years since we had an album from Jaguar Wright. I had Divorcing Neo To Marry Soul on repeat for months and sure, we have had a single here and there, but it's a full album that I need right now. Despite no concrete information I still check for Ms. Wright on the regular and that's how I came across this video of her performing alongside butta-voiced soulman Eric Benét at The Shrine in Chicago recently. The duo, I'm sure you will agree, are in top vocal form as they get their freestyle on, much to the delight of the crowd. Eric will be releasing The One this spring, so let's hope that 2012 is the year Jaguar comes out of hiding, too.
